Welcome to Mirth & Mettle. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of mirthnmettle.com (the "Site") and your purchase of products from us. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Who we are

Mirth & Mettle is a small handcrafted-jewelry and scarves boutique based in the Arab Republic of Egypt. References to "we", "us", and "our" in these Terms refer to Mirth & Mettle.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase from the Site. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Products and pricing

All prices are listed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We make every effort to display our products and prices accurately, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to refuse or cancel orders placed at an incorrect price.

Because our pieces are handmade in small batches, slight variations in color, finish, and texture are part of their character — not defects.

4. Orders and payment

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. Payment is due at the time of purchase, except for Cash on Delivery orders, where payment is due upon receipt of the package. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.

If we are unable to fulfill your order for any reason, we will notify you and issue a full refund.

5. Shipping

We ship across Egypt. Estimated delivery times and shipping fees are shown at checkout. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the courier; please inspect packages on arrival and report any visible damage to the courier and to us within 72 hours.

6. Returns and refunds

Our Refund & Return Policy is incorporated into these Terms. Please review it before placing an order.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, photographs, logos, designs, and the look and feel of the Site — is owned by Mirth & Mettle or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
  • Resell our products without authorization
  • Attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Site
  • Submit false or misleading information

9. User accounts

If you create an account on the Site, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

10. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except where prohibited by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mirth & Mettle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or the products purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Cairo, Egypt.
